How to provide HK Pickup Options in Shopify?

OneShip/OneWarehouse, via OneAddress, offers a pickup point page that displays carrier store addresses (pickup points, convenience store pickup, smart lockers, retail locations, etc.) directly at Shopify checkout. Pickup points are updated in real time—no manual maintenance required.

Pickup point addresses are automatically synced to the recipient address when creating shipments in OneShip/OneWarehouse, eliminating manual errors and improving fulfillment efficiency.

 

 

Select a pickup point at checkout

  1. The customer adds products to the cart and clicks Checkout to enter the pickup point page.
  2. The customer selects a pickup address, then clicks Next to proceed to checkout.
  3. The customer adds more contact details, selects a shipping method, completes payment, and places the order.

Settings in Shopify Admin

 Install the OneShip/OneWarehouse app

  1. Find OneShip or OneWarehouse app in the Shopify App Store and click Install to link your Shopify store with your OneShip/OneWarehouse account.

  2. Pin the app to the left sidebar for easy access.

Configure Settings Within the App

Enable pickup points and select the language for the pickup point page.

Note:

  • The language must match your store’s primary language.
  • Set the pickup point page to show only to customers eligible for pickup.

Enable the Pickup Point Page in Your Theme

  1. Go to Online Store → Edit theme.
  2. In the top‑left, open App Embeds and enable either OneShip‑Pickup Point or OneWarehouse‑Pickup Point (choose one).
  3. Click Save to activate the pickup point page at checkout.

Important:

  • If you change themes, remember to embed the pickup point in the new theme.
  • If both apps are installed, only embed one pickup point to avoid duplicate pickup point pages.

Settings for Cart & Checkout 

1. Disable dynamic checkout buttons

If customers use Buy now, they skip the pickup point page and go straight to checkout. To ensure they can choose a pickup point, disable dynamic checkout buttons:

  • In Theme editor, open any product detail page.
  • In the left sidebar, find the Buy buttons section.
  • Turn off Dynamic checkout buttons and save.

2. Require address and phone number at checkout

To reduce missed pickups and undelivered parcels, we recommend making the phone number mandatory for delivery notifications.

  • Go to Settings → Checkout.
  • Set Address line 2 (apartment, unit, etc.) to Optional or Required.
  • Set Shipping address phone number to Required.

Once these steps are complete, customers can easily select a pickup point when placing orders—quick and convenient.
